I have a few items that are on Final Sale, so I thought I’d give you a quick run down on my sizing opinions. Please note sizing may change in different colors and larger sizes.
Riviera boatneck tee item 95147-
TTS, not sheer and does not show bra straps. Hits at the hip. I love this top, I have both papya and grey.
Crinkle godet skirt item 93920-
TTS, sits low on the waist. Nice swingy fabric, fully lined. I am 5’4″ and this falls 2″ above my knee.
Nanakuli beach-cloth Chelsea shirt item 93629-
TTS. Fitted in chest and shoulders, loose in the waist. Hits at the hip. Fabric is a little sheer, you may want a cami or tank. Check the arm seams carefully. I just noticed some of the stitching on mine has come undone.
Pleat-front tissue top item 92817-
TTS. Scoop neck is too low for my liking and shoulders too wide. Hits at the hip. Not sheer in the papaya, I don’t know about the lighter colors. It doesn’t really give a preggy look but I still feel larger than usual in the empire waist.
Cashmere Olivia shell item 97083-
TTS or SD for a more fitted band under the bust. Neck and arm opening are not too low, no bra peeking. Nice soft fabric. Light enough for high 60′s/low 70′s weather and can be layered for cooler days.
Featherweight merino shirred sweater item 92942-
TTS, SU if you are worried about snug arms. Fitted in arms and shoulders very swingy in the waist.
Ruffle henley tissue tee item 96834-
TTS. Fitted in the chest and arms. Slim and drapes nicely in the waist. Hits at the hip. Not sheer in the plum. I washed mine inside out on cold extra-gentle, hung to dry and the ruffles still look great.
Featherweight cotton tie top item 94010-
SD. This is SO wide at the shoulders. I ruched the farbic till the drawstrings were at my knees and I still can’t get it to stay up on the shoulders. It is very full in the waist as well.
Soft knit scoopneck tee item 91639-
SU. The scoop is just a little too low for my liking and it clings a bit around the lower waist. Sheer in white but not in the more saturated colors (I have pink and orange).
Jackie cardigan item 85613-
SU Fitted in the arms and shoulders, slim in the waist. Hits at the waist (lower waist not belly button) The Poppy in not a true red. It is an orange coral red. The Soft Fuchsia that I received was a full size larger than the other colors, may have been mis-labeled. I don’t know if all the fuchsia are cut large.
Featherweight merino ruffle cardigan item 90991-
TTS, SU if you need extra room in the chest to keep buttons from gaping (will be extra roomy at the waist if you go up). Fitted in arms and shoulders, loose in the waist.
If you have any items that are currently Final Sale, I’d love to hear your sizing opinions and review in the comments!

Just wanted to say great reviews up and down the blog. Nice job.
Thanks for adding your thoughts Gigi!
I purchased the
Sequin-stripe cardigan Item 97050 from Final Sale. It’s a rather boring item but I like it for weekly wear with a white button down or navy or grey tissue turtleneck under it. I like three quarter sleeves and thought it would be different than wearing the same solid colored button down sweater all the time. It’s not itchy and is dry clean only. I hope to avoid the dry cleaners by hand washing it. JCrew includes extra sequins along with the extra buttons.
I’ve been eyeing that cardi. Thanks for the review Tigs! Did you take your regular size and is it loose or fitted in the waist?
I also got the sriped cardigan. I agree w/Tigs that it’s casual. The stripes make it casual and the sequins give flair to everyday wear.
I am a small and feel that it’s TTS. Since I am a 34C, I tried the M, but you get into that situation where the shoulders extend beyond your natural shoulders and there is gaping from underneath the arm, above the breast. Shoulder-to-hem is 22″
Based on the fabric & the look on the model, I sized up to a medium. (I now wear a size small or 4 since JCrew adjusted their sizes.) I'm not full in the bust & the medium is a perfect fit. When I wear a Jackie (purchased from this season's merchandise) the medium's fit is slightly bulky between the bust & shoulders. Maybe it's the fabric but it is not the case with the striped sweater.
The sweater is fitted at the waistband & is 22" long.
To be honest, when I first received the sweater I was feeling a twinge of regret. After trying it on in the daylight, with various tops underneath, I really like it.
I recently purchased two dream tie cardi's & one of those cotton/polyester t's with the "The Queen's Tailor" in gold lettering from the B&M. I love these t's & must buy a few more. The cardi's are versatile & feminine too but enough has already been said about those sweaters. Have a nice day.
