J.Crew is offering some cute A-line skirts this season. The Belle skirt is available is several colors and fabrics; cotton, silk and floral prints. Unfortunately, the cotton Belle I tried on, ran big and was overwhelming on my small frame. But all is not lost, I recently received another great A-line, the Chambray swing skirt. I ordered it back in June. It was back ordered then and by July I had given up on receiving one. Low and behold it showed up in my mailbox in Sept. I was pleasantly surprised but thought to myself, now what? Since I ordered it in June my only outfit plans included a tank and sandals. I went online, to Style.com, looking for a little inspiration. Of course runway looks can be a bit over the top for every day life but I found some gorgeous silhouettes that I can re-work for my lifestyle. I hope these looks give you some fresh wardrobe ideas as well.

Wow, you are really lucky to get your backordered skirt…I have had many things backordered that long that I never got from JCrew over the years:) Maybe there is still hope for my backordered item from end of July!
I know! I’m sure it was a return because when I called to check on it in July, they were all gone, online and in stores.
Yes, when I called about mine two weeks ago the rep said they were just waiting for a return. I learned that backordered does not mean they will be getting any more items…just that they hope for a return! Kinda crazy!
