I received an email from J.Crew advertising new markdowns. However, I can’t say that I found many items that have been added to the Fall Sale.. I did see the following, plus a few random things from last year.
Cashmere turtleneck sweater My coveted Dark Poppy tneck is not included, booo.
Tweed Astor jacket – From last year, I am assuming.
Matchstick jean in crisp blue-I’ve been wanting these for awhile. Anyone know how they fit?
Taffeta a-line skirt -On promo already, wow!
What am I missing? Did you notice anything new added to the Sale section?
On a related note, I am loving all the promos J.Crew is offering this month! I have already purchased a few sweaters and tee on sale. There are several items that I am patiently waiting for markdowns on. Including: Lea cardigan, Cashmere heirloom henley (obsessed with this one), Cashmere keepsake cardigan, Dream tie-neck cardigan, Double serged pencil skirt, Francie skirt, and the Pembridge dot shell.
Which items are you “just waiting for a sale” to purchase? Let’s hope J.Crew is listening ;O)
Yes, I did notice that one thing I’ve been watching went down yesterday–the violet Fleur suede flats were marked down from $198 to $139.99. That’s still too much for me. I will have to wait for a further percentage off–I would probably buy at the sale price minus 20%.
I wish I could squeeze my foot into the girl’s fleur flats. I like the more rounded toe, plus the red and pink are so cute. Seems like J.Crew is stingy with their shoe markdowns
I hope a 20% off sale comes soon. Maybe then I could pull the trigger on the cash henley!

Do you by any chance own or try Matilda dress? I’m very interested but no local jcrew store around where I’m living… Their price is very reasonable online ($39.99), but the only color left for my size is honey glaze, I’m afraid it will be too dramatic ?
I haven’t tried the Matilda dress. Maybe one of our readers has, anyone?
It is a great price though! If it were me, I would call customer service and order it, asking them to make sure it was not marked Final sale. Then you can return with out issue if it does work out

I am also hoping for a sale or promotion on the Lea cardigan (LOVE this sweater!), the cashmere heirloom henley, and the cornsilk necklace.
Unluckily for me, there’s nothing new in the menswear sale.
I also have the cashmere henley on my wish list. Does anyone know how it fits – tts? How about the colors. It isn ‘t available in the store here, so I’m curious.
I just bought the cashmere cardigan in the light spearmint with my educator’s discount and free shipping. I couldn’t wait for it to be marked down and something off is better than nothing! I LOVE that color.
Also, did a presale at the same time for the cascading flowers Astrid. So with that purchase I am done shopping for the rest of November!

Shannon, When I get it I will let you know but I “heard” (read) that it is a true mint pastel which is what I am hoping it is…
Also was told that new spring line is going to be more pastels and muted shades which sounds great!
