I came across a couple of sweaters on J.crew.com that I had not seen before..Perhaps these are part of the November roll out.
Cashmere silk-placket henley-I love the silk placket and the casual but fitted looked this sweater has. I’m not sure about the shawl collar and I’m a little disappointed that it is only available in Dove and Black.
Enamel-button long sweater-jacket- I love the collar on this sweater and the sleeve detail! It looks comfortable, cozy, and stylish. However, I can rarely wear double breasted jackets. It’s just as well because the $225.00 price tag for mostly wool it shocking.
What are your thoughts on these new sweaters? Do you see yourself purchasing one, or both?
I am liking the first sweater but not the color choices…or lack there of…I already purchased ivory and black cashmere sweaters from JCrew this past month. If this came in other colors it would be one to watch a sale for but will pass…I do like the shawl color….
Interesting. I still love the Heirloom Cashmere Henley much better. Not thrilled by this thinner looking, shorter looking one only in black or white. The second sweater – that collar would drive me NUTS, and double breasted too much for my large chest.
What skirt is the model wearing with the first sweater? I really like it, but I don’t see it on jcrew.com.

I’m with you on the cashmere, it’s a big pass for me. I do like the Heirloom Cashmere though. I’m not really lovin’ the sweater coat either, WAYYYYYY to expensive for what it seems to be.
Hey, the skirt in the first picture is NOT the metallic scooter skirt. It is currently in stores, but not online. I tried it on a couple of weeks ago when I had an appointment with a personal shopper. I think it was in the 100 dollar range? It hits well above the knee.
Yeah, the skirt is new and in stores. My store had a front display with the skirt (it’s like the wool mini) and a pair of wide-leg pants in the same material. It’s $98. They had a bunch of other items with them, but also a weird zebra print cardi that I’m not sure is online yet (or will be?). Gigi at her blog did a review:
