As noted earlier, I can’t wait to get Spring shopping. However, it is still bloody cold out! So, to help justify a couple new goodies, I’ve put together Polyvore sets for items that will pull double duty.
I won’t be indulging in any real warm weather items like shorts and sandals until I’m sure it is done snowing lol. I hope that what I want will still be in stock by then!
Will you be looking for transition pieces or do you plan to hold off shopping until the weather turns?
Do you think the Spring items you want will still be available or will we see major inventory cut backs from J.Crew?

I love these color combos you have here! I live in a pretty warm/moderate climate (Southern Cali) so I will probably be wearing more spring-like items soon but the mornings are still cold, lol!
On the inventory topic; I believe Mickey said it was too late to do anything about spring inventories b/c they had been ordered long ago. I think they will have good discounts on this spring stuff and we will start seeing lower inventories late summer and into fall. Just my 2 cents, I’m not in the industry or anything
I agree with you Shannon-too early to shop Spring and we should ideally be looking at transitional outfits:)
I also agree with Stacie regarding inventory. And really–we all know that even if they lower future inventories–those items will appear more exclusive to start. Otherwise, I am sure you can scrounge up an item even if it sells say, quicker than usual. There are SO many JC stores and I believe if you want it bad enough you can ALWAYS find it (leave it to me that has done many of my own “we will find its” and I always do:)
