Jewelry and outfit building

Thanks to Icsmom who suggested I upload my jewelry pics to Polyvore. Anyone who has purchased or is thinking of purchasing a piece and wants to play can now use my jewelry pics in their Polyvore sets.
I have been completely inspired by Icsmom set combining the Medallion print with my turquoise fringe bracelet. I must [...]

Facebook

So I set up a Facebook page for Dressing Room Jewelry but I have no idea what I am doing lol. The whole facebook, myspace, etc world is a complete mystery to me. Do you use Facebook? How do you use it to connect?

If you have a Facebook account, can you take a look at [...]

OOTD: Taj Mahal charm necklace

Today’s outfit of the day is less colorful than my usual. Bootcut cords in Acorn, champagne rose tee, and a black long cardigan. Early this morning I made up a Taj Mahal inspired charm necklace. I think it looks great with the rose tee.

Sunray-ish

In between twisting 1000 bauble bracelet beads lol, I finished up my Sunray-ish necklace. I’ve seen this exact style of necklace being sold not only by J.Crew but Kate Spade and a Nordstrom’s house brand. Must be the It style for bib necklaces right now.

It is so gloomy and dark today that my photos are [...]

OOTD: Floral necklace on a chilly day

My Library shawl collar cardigan arrived yesterday and I am loving it. I am excited that the collar frames my Garden party necklace perfectly. Really thinking about ordering this cardi in champagne now…I plan on changing into flats later but I wanted to see how the Rose peep-toes looked with this outfit. I think a [...]

Broken-in Boyfriend chino

The inseam on these is 31.5″. I am 5′4″ [...]

From the dressing room: J.crew spring 2

I stopped by J.Crew today and tried a couple of things on. Let me preface by saying most of the pieces were too big and made me look fat. Now that you are prepared, let’s move on lol.

This is the Ruffle V-neck tee and Tiered ruffle skirt. No I did not plan to wear them [...]

Spring Bauble bracelet

This bracelet is inspired by the colors in JC’s butterfly bauble bracelet. I wanted something a little smaller with more saturated pastels. I thought about adding some sort of critter charm but nothing caught my eye and I decided it was more versatile with out.
I used Czech glass and pink jade beads for this bracelet. [...]

New love: Cluster bracelets

I have a new, or I should say rekindled jewelry obsession, fringe bracelets. I made a few of these bracelets a couple years ago but I gave it up because I wasn’t prepared at the time to have my house taken over by beads lol.
Fringe bracelets are definitely a lot of work but they are [...]
