Facebook

So I set up a Facebook page for Dressing Room Jewelry but I have no idea what I am doing lol. The whole facebook, myspace, etc world is a complete mystery to me. Do you use Facebook? How do you use it to connect?

If you have a Facebook account, can you take a look at my page and tell me if you see a link to become a Fan. I don’t see it anywhere but maybe that is because it is my page. Or maybe I just haven’t set my page up correctly..
Things like this make me feel old lol.

Dressing Room Facebook

**Update** Good news, the page works lol! Big thanks to those who checked for me and to those that have Fan-ed my page :)
I think I even figured out what to use Facebook for. It will be a great place to share my everyday jewelry chat. Ideas, works in progress, customer customs pics, etc.

If you come visit me, feel free to post and chat! There is a Discussion board under “Boxes” and I think you can leave comments on the Wall. If you already have a facebook account, you probably know more about this than me lol.

    It looks correct to me!

Yay! Thanks so much Molly. I see it now too. It was driving me crazy last night trying to figure out how to add the different elements

I know! Facebook can seem so daunting at first. Just stick with it and you’ll get the hang of it.

    It looks great!

    Awesome! I’ll be a fan!

Also – I thought it would be fun to use your jewelry in polyvore sets (if it is okay with you…) but it would not let me clip the photos because they are flicker… Could you add them to polyvore? I thought it would get your name out even more.

How fun, I’d love to be in some polyvore sets
I will add the pics to my account and post when they are up.
    Thanks :)

Sorry to be OT, but Shannon, did you like the pink mandarin henley you got? I got it in the tea rose, and it’s just too neon. I’m thinking about getting the tulip instead. What did you think of the color?

  • Shannon

I love the Tulip. It’s a nice mid-toned true pink.
Unfortunately I have to send the henley back. The buttons gape open all the way down even though I sized up. I ordered the scoop neck in tulip to replace it

Ok Thanks! Sorry it didn’t work out. –2:01

Thanks for adding the items to polyvore, already made a few sets with them :)

OMG I hadn’t even thought of pairing the turquoise bracelet with the medallion print! I was debating about getting the shorts but now I need them.
Maybe I’ll even make a matching necklace for the days I’m not in the bracelet mood

Glad you like it :) The turquoise looks so fabulous IRL with the medallion print, I love it. I think a necklace would be amazing. I have mine that I made and I wear it all the time. It makes any outfit, even a white tee look really great.
