The heel height is perfect. I have noticed, with the patent leather, that when I walk in a pencil skirt I have a bad habit of brushing against the shoe on the other side ...and the leather "sticks" to itself so I end up tripping out of the shoe!! I have the Juliets in Driftwood, and while they are true to size in length, I found them to be wide in the heel and snug across the toes!
