Anthropologie Puckered Scoopneck tee

The Puckered scoopneck tee by C.Keer fits true to size, a bit roomy. I took an XS which is the size I normally go for in any type of jersey top. This tee comes in a range of gorgeous colors including a turquoise blue not shown online.

I didn’t pay much attention to this shirt when I saw it online. It has a lot of pleating in the front which can often add bulk or drape oddly across the chest but when I saw it in store I was totally wooed by the colors.

The cut of the tee is more flattering on me than I thought it would be. The drape is a little thrown off in my pic because my arm is up for the camera. The smocking at the center of the top is a nice detail making this tee more interesting especially under a cardigan.

The Pima cotton is soft and ultra comfortable. The blue I tried on was not sheer at all and the other colors did not look like they would be, with the probable exception of the white.

Although I really wanted to, I didn’t bring this top home. I am hoping it will go on sale soon. I’d really like to get the pink and the turquoise.

Paris outfit shopping… OR How can I get Anthro to sponser my Paris wardrobe?

I have a conundrum… I need to save every penny I can for Paris shopping. But I also want to buy a few special pieces to wear on my trip. Fall is my absolute favorite season and with all the gorgeous new clothing coming out, it’s going to be a living hell being on a No buy.

Here’s what I have on my Paris outfit wish list now. As I said last week, I am pretty underwhelmed with the JC Fall roll out. Nothing looks like it will be flattering on me. So most of my wish list is from Anthropologie. I don’t think that Anthro is particularly Parisian but I am not going to try and look like a local, as if I could even come close. I do think Anthro has the perfect fit and aesthetic for me in Pair-ee

What is on my J.Crew wishlist is the wool Professor blazer. I am praying the fit is good! Although maybe not… If it’s boxy, that is money in the bank for me. LOVE the Colleen Rose flats too

Anthropologie Rhythmic blouse

Floreat’s Rhythmic blouse fits tts to small. I took a 2 which is my usual Anthro button up size and it fit perfectly. Like Anthro’s Odille line this blouse is cut a bit small and fitted in the shoulders and under the chest.

I tried this blouse on in the Lilac which is a pretty pale purple with dark purple dots. Even though the material is quite light in color, I did not find it see through at all.

This blouse is described online as a “gauzy button up” but if I remember correctly, the material was your typical crisp cotton. There is a ruffle running down one side of the placket. To me this single ruffle looked a little unbalanced.

All and all a very pretty top but I ended up bringing home something else.

Hello heaven..

My husband and I have rather abruptly decided to take a trip to Europe this Fall. First we will be flying to Germany to visit friends and go to Oktoberfest. After that we will head to Paris. We’ll have about a week there with one day spent taking the train over to London for a quick visit.

We are very excited but also overwhelmed! I have to quickly make a list of all the can’t miss sites.

One place I will definitely visit is the Repetto boutique on Rue de la Paix.
