I’m planning a visit to J.Crew this Sunday. Besides a 5 minute walk through last weekend, it’s been a long time since I’ve shopped the B&M. I’m getting seriously tired of the stuff in my closet. Hopefully I can find a few new things that fit.
Here’s what’s on my shopping list:
1-Antique ruffle top- Love this. Praying that the fit is not huge!
2-4 pocket Merino cardigan- I don’t need a cardi right now but I want to know the fit for when it goes on sale.
3-Cashmere vneck sweater- Again no sweaters right now BUT I am very interested to know if this fits as well as it looks on the model. Last year’s were so roomy and the vneck was too low.
4-Libretto necklace- Want to see the scale, again for sale time
5-Shirred ruffle tank-This might be a disaster on me because of too much boobage. But I am hopeful. I need breezy summer tops. If I am sized out of the XXS in this, I am going to have a serious tantrum.
6-Beaded graphic tee- Need a new tee. I am tired of looking at my candy tees.
7-Pixie pant- Don’t laugh, if I see these I am going to try them on. If nothing else I’ll get a good laugh…or cry.
8-Destroyed matchstick jean- So far I have not been able to fit my @ss into a pair of matchstick jeans. Maybe today will be the day lol.
9-Captain tee- I don’t think it is actually the Captain tee but the cute stripey boatnecks they have in store. Must have! Ehh hopefully it is not see through
10-Three quarter sleeve henley- I don’t think they have these in store. Anyone know how they fit? Does it gape in between the buttons like most henleys??
11-Strati tank-Been wanting to try this one for awhile
12-Mica mini- Looks cute. Not sure about the fold over waist..could add bulk to my thickest part, lower stomach *cringe*
Anything else I should look for?
I know you're an Anthropologie fan too–if you're going to be near one, you might want to stop in. I've found some really cute summer tops and cardigans from there in the last month and they're running some good sales. I love the new Bailey 44 cardigans they got in–I ended up getting one in each color (black and gray). Super flattering and comfy. Even my husband complimented me on them and he hardly ever comments on that stuff.

I just love a shopping list! I'm very curious about the cashmere v-neck's, too, so please let us know what you think of the fit. I didn't like the boxy hem and extremely low v-neck's on this year's sweaters (but, did that stop me from buying half a dozen of them…of course not!!!). Ready for a regular v-neck! Strati tank is on my wish list, as well as the Libretto necklace. Good luck, Shannon!
Since last holiday season, I've been wary of the cashmere quality. If you end up getting the cashmere v-neck, could you comment on how it's holding up to wear?
The slub cotton shirred ruffles tank in my usual XS was huge on me. I hope it proves a better fit on you.
Love your list! I have been wondering myself how the fit of the henley is. One of us is going to have to break down and order it! LOL!
I'm so glad someone else is interested in the Pixie Pant! I have been dying to try them on in my size (laugh or cry…) they have such potential! Please, PLEASE do a review of them if you find them!!!
I love skinny black pants but I'm probably a little old to be a Pixie . . . I would be curious to hear about the exposed zipper–would it snag sweaters?
I'm also interested in the strati tank and will look forward to a review.

I have the strati tank in regular cotton rather than the metallic. I love it. I have been wearing it alot! I am interested to hear what you think of the libretto necklace. Report back!
I have the J. Crew Collection Mica Mini in gold and I love it- it's by far one of my favorite pieces for the summer. The waistband doesn't bother me, but I could see how it might bother others depending on wear it fits around the waist. Good luck with it!
And definitely do reviews for this stuff- I want to hear what you think about the pixie pants!

I tried the Pixie pant last year when they had them and they were just horrible on me. They have this weird horse riding pant fit and these weird seems on the inside of the legs. They definitely got returned! The idea of them is super cute but the material is just horrible. I was hoping they would redo them this year but looks like they are the same. Bummer.
FYI: Only the Collection Mica has the exposed zipper. The linen ones have disappearing zippers.
I haven't tried the henley in your item list but I do have the Ringspun painter henley, item 15287 (catalog/internet only) and love it. No gaping and it fits/feels wonderful. I'm considering adding one or two more for fall.

Well I ended up going Sat and it was pretty much a bust. The store was so empty. I am going out again today to the larger JC and Anthro. I'll report back
