After a disappointing trip to J.Crew Saturday we went back to the city Monday and hit Anthropologie. The sales racks were pretty well stuffed but as was the case at JC, almost everything left was size large. They had quite a few of these blue Leifsdottir cardigans in various sizes. Even on sale it was more [...] My weekend shopping expedition started at J.Crew on Saturday. As soon as we walked up to the store Dh said “why’s it so empty?”. That pretty much sums it up. The store looked very bare. None of the newer items I hoped to see were there and the sale section was very bland. Tops in [...] I’m planning a visit to J.Crew this Sunday. Besides a 5 minute walk through last weekend, it’s been a long time since I’ve shopped the B&M. I’m getting seriously tired of the stuff in my closet. Hopefully I can find a few new things that fit. Here’s what’s on my shopping list: Bit of a basic outfit today because it is all about my new Acorn necklace. I made up this necklace on a rolo chain that I had on hand but I am going [...] Is it just me or is there a lot of jewelry in the sale section today? And the mark downs look pretty substantial, especially factoring in the extra 20% off. I wonder if this is a reflection of shoppers losing interest in the over sized style of JC’s pieces.
