WOTD: Wants of the Day

Unlike most every one, I wasn’t thrilled with JC’s first Fall roll out. I do however love the Falling ruffles tank. I think it would be perfect with the Martin and Osa Boyfriend jeans that will hopefully be arriving at my doorstep next week. I also ADORE the Dolce Vita carter heels styled with the jeans. Really tempting with the M+O 30% off code (10313958). They have a 4.5″ heel though… What do you think the chances are of me breaking my neck in those suckers?

Anthropologie Cinched medallions blouse

The Cinched medallions blouse by Floreat runs slightly big imo. I tried on the 2, which is the size I always wear in Anthro blouses and it was too big in the chest and upper waist. You can’t tell very well how much the fit is off in my pic because my arm is pulling the fabric up but it was just a bit too roomy.

The fabric is a soft breezy cotton voile in pale blue grey. The blouse is a little sheer around the waist but not in the chest because of the pleating. The ivory embroidery on the sides of the blouse is beautiful and the black banding gives nice waist definition.

This top has been on my wishlist for awhile now and I was very pleased with it irl. Unfortunately they did not have my size in the store. I will definitely be keeping an eye on it online

Anthropologie Crisp Wings blouse

I tried on a few things at Anthropologie this past weekend. First let me remind everyone to excuse my awful, blurry dressing room pics. I just had my little point and shoot camera since I think it would be a bit suspicious hauling my ginormous Nikon in there lol.

Today’s review is the Odille Crisp Wings blouse. This top’s sizing is just like all the other Odille blouses I have. I took a 2 and it just fit, definitely could not size down. The blouse is fitted in the chest and around the rib cage. It drapes over the stomach and upper hips.

The print on this top is a beautiful black and ivory butterfly motif with a touch of green. The cotton is crisp and not sheer. The blouse has a tie waist which I knotted in the back.

I really loved this blouse. The fit was fantastic. But I did not bring it home. I never wear just black and white, so I was sort of stumped over what I would wear it with..

A few things I can’t live without..

I was browsing Anthropologie’s website today, taking a peek at the new arrivals and I got lost for about an hour. They have so many gorgeous things right now!

On the subject of Anthro, I received my orange surplice tank this morning and it is even better and easier to wear than I expected. Plus it goes with my new coral bib necklace perfectly! I also got my J.Crew henley and was disappointed. Doesn’t that just about sum up all my recent shopping experiences…
The buttons did not gape on the JC henley but my usual Perfect fit size small was too big. Back it will go and I’ll add that $$ to my Anthro shopping fund.
I will try and get picks of both tops this weekend.

So, here is my current Anthro wish list. *cough* Are you listening Dh?? *cough* ;)
