Dh brought to my attention that I should check to see if there will be any fashion shows the week we are in Paris. I knew Sept and Oct would be the time for Spring 2010 shows but it never occurred to me to check the dates. I looked it up and yes indeed almost all of the Ready to wear shows will be going on the week I am in Paris. Including the Chanel show at the Grand Palais

That's true. Even though I can't get into a show there will be some great fashion to see out in the streets
How fabulous! I agree with Diana, you may not be inside during the event, but you can definitely scope out the cool clothes outside of it!
Attending a fashion show in Paris is one of those life-long dreams…sigh…Chanel would be incredible. Speaking of Chanel, last night I was channel-surfing on the satellite TV, and I landed on "Lagerfeld Confidential" on the Sundance Channel. Lots of back-stage scenes from Chanel shows. (drools). They are having Full Frontal Fashion on that channel this week, I believe.
Maybe someone will see you on the street, see how fabulous you are, and BEG you to come to the shows?
Definitely find a coffee shop near the venues and camp out. My husband and I found this to be a superfun thing to do at World Cup 2006 for the games we couldn't get in to.
