Now that the weather has finally turned cool, I can seriously think about my Fall wardrobe. I’m feeling it’s time to toughen up. I have enough girlie ruffles, bright colors, and flowery embellished tops in my closet. After spending a couple weeks in Europe, I have a whole new appreciation for black, grey, and cool femininity without too much fuss.
On my wishlist…
Studded Fete Dress
Luxe Dotted Tights
Cuttle Boots
Puckered & Pleated Cardigan
Seasonless Skirt
Wyatt T-Straps
Loeffler Randall Corded Hexagon Blouse
Aspects Belt
Polaire Vest
Triple Strand Headband
Acclimate Sweater
Rachel Pally Ballerina tee
Rebecca Minkoff triple chain clutch
What’s on your Fall wishlist?

'tis the season – i posted my fall wish list too. Check it out here: http://chasingdavies.blogspot.com/2009/10/fall-wish-list.html
Happy Fall!
Beautiful pieces! I have the seasonless skirt, and love it – just wore it the other day with grey tights & boots. FYI I'm petite, and have read taller reviewers who say it's too short for them. The Acclimate Sweater is in my cart too but I'm waiting for a sale. You've got great taste, chica.
Definitely love the black & gray with the cooler weather. I make sure to add some color though. Wearing all somber colors can make one somber herself…Love the Twist & Tether cardi; haven't seen it before your post; it looks so chic!
Chasing Davies-Great list!
Diana- "Wearing all somber colors can make one somber herself" Lol, true! I always need a little bit of color somewhere, even if it is just beige. Otherwise I feel like a black hole.. or like I am trying too hard to be a morose hipster lol.
Thanks for your thoughts on the skirt! Why oh why does Anthro never offer codes?! I realllly want that twist and tether cardi, right now
You gotta love the greys and blacks! And you're right – it's time to toughen up the femininity for fall! I love the Studded Fete Dress, although I couldn't find it in my Anthro store when I last went.
I love the list, it's great. I also love grey, I have so many things in that color, but I like to just add a little bit of color once in and while to avoid the "somber look".
When it comes to black & grey it's all about the cut and the details – collars, trims, buttons, buckles etc. isn't it, embellishment in a sleek way. Have also been trying some grey and brown together this fall for a "warmer" look. But ahhhh, Shannon, you re-started my "pick one" debate, the Anthro Cuttle boots (manmade sole boo) vs. the JC Cadogan booties (for once leather and rubber sole.) Want a pair of wearable but cool short boots, budget can't stretch to both…JC 20% promo tempting, but Anthro ones edgier and less $…Really like your "different" for you picks!
cute inspiration- you seem to be aiming in a new direction
can you PLEASE post more OOTD's? I have been going through the few outfits of the day that you have on here, and I think you have great style and could be a real inspiration. You have such a great wardrobe- show it off
Your wishlist is making me drool! There isn't anything on your list that I don't love–great picks! I am OBSESSED with the Rebecca Minkoff triple chain clutch…I need it!
Great list! I just bought the Wind-Rippled Tee – that's a must have! I've also tried on the Seasonless Skirt and Puckered & Pleated Cardigan. Those Luxe Dot tights are on my wishlist too!
Amy- I hope my store has it. I think it is time for an Anthro visit!
Get Fresh- I was torn between the Anthro boots and JC roadsters. I think I'd have to go with Anthro though, I am so hesitant about JC's quality right now
I'm going to look for the boots on my next shopping trip.
Meli-Thank you! I will try and take some ootd pics soon. I wasn't sure if anyone was still into it. Maybe I can do any end of the week outfit round up
Law&fashion- I know right, that bag KILLS me
Kim_ I will check your blog for them!
That seasonless skirt is gorgeous! I had a similar skirt from Ann Taylor, of all places, about 10+ years ago. And it was perfect. I'll have to check that one out in person. Love the studded fete dress. Wonder if it would work for a November wedding…
