I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite pics from Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest was much more county fair than I expected
Crazy ass people on the swings.
Why wouldn’t you after drinking a pitcher of beer..

I love these pictures, Shannon! Good job on capturing the feel of what's going on- the swing shot made me feel sick, and the shot of the people snoozing on the grass is too funny.
I hope you're having fun across the pond, you lucky duck!
Yay! I totally love a county fair. I'm so glad I now know that's what Oktoberfest is like. It looks crazy fun.
OMG, I could feel like I was there. Pictures are awesome. I really want to go to Germany. However, I am afraid as my husband's last name is of German origin and it translates to "idiot". So I am afraid people will be laughing at us all the time (trust me, I happens every time we meet German people). Thanks for sharing the pictures!
I went to Germany for a week last feburary. My mother is German, so half the family is over there in Munich. The architechure (sp?) is so beautiful over there! I was so surprised Germany is as small as it is- I mean, we could fit in in NY state, and barely spill over the borders!
I enjoyed your pics, Shannon! You really did capture the spirit of the event! Loved your comment: Some random dude staring directly into the camera. LOL! For some reason, that just cracked me up. You are no stranger to a camera — excellent job! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for posting ladies! Glad you enjoyed the pics

Hi Shannon,
Can you give a brief update on how your shoes (comfort, walking… etc) are working out on your trip? Been following your blog and loved the outfits you posted when you were packing.
Going to do a lot of walking soon and am considering the juxtaposition boots.
Thanks!
