I plucked this short sleeve cowl neck dress out of the Anthropologie sale section Friday night. It is a bit full across the hips because of the pleating and pockets but I decided to go ahead with it because I really need easy to wear, easy to layer dresses. More importantly, it was under $100 ($59.95). I rarely wear dresses, so they need to offer value per wear and versatility.
I also picked up these Hue Fair Isle tights to go with the dress, LOVE them. I do wish I had a black snake bite belt to tie the look together but I haven’t ordered it….yet

Adorable! I love sweaterdresses! They are such fun!
You can’t beat a dress for ease and versatility!
Like the look!
Adorable dress!
Thanks to you and Kim (of Anthroholic) I got & love the snikebite belt in black – so simple, yet so stylish. You’ve had some really great outfits with the grey so I hope to find one someday in S. I think they may be making more of them b/c the brown one is available on backorder online now (it was previously sold out).
cute tights
Love how you paired the grey and the fuschia!
I love the snikebite belt so much. Unfortunately it is too big on me!! I love this dress very much with the boots.
That’s so cute! I know what you mean about easy-to-wear, easy-to-layer dresses being so tempting…somehow in the morning I gravitate to those to toss on above all my other (many, more exciting) dresses! This one looks very cute on you though
Thanks ladies!!
Diana- Yay for the snakebite! I’m totally in debt to Kim for posting about it!!
Rosa- That is such a bummer! They need to make an XS!
