I haven’t blogged about my jewelry designs in quite awhile. In case you have wondered, Dressing room jewelry is still here lol. I just had a crazy few months with the vacation, dd starting school, bdays, holidays. One thing after another. So I wasn’t able to put together a full Fall/Winter line.
Life has begun to calm down though and I started work on several pieces for Spring. I haven’t added any new items to the website yet. I’m holding back until I have an entire collection.
For the new line I’m working with pale pink, frosted yellow, lime green, turquoise, and rich purple paired with neutrals. I’m accenting with crystals, ribbon, and draped chain. There will also be a couple of darker, bolder colors combos perfect for evening. Here is a little sneak peek

I also recently updated my packaging. I enjoy boxing up an order almost as much as making the jewelry!

Lovin’ the draped chain additions AND the Tiffany inspired packaging but with the lighter transparent ribbon. Can’t wait for the full selection’s debut! You’ve got me thinkin’ spring which is very tough to do in the Toronto chill.
I love your designs! So pretty! I’m wondering what the price-point will be on the newer items… I know it takes a lot of work and goodies to make what you make, but I was hoping there would be a few other selections in the lower price range for little ole’ brokies like me.

Getfresh-Thanks! Luckily it has warmed up a little here. It is tough to think spring when there is snow on the ground!
Justine- I haven’t written out my costs yet. But I will keep it as affordable as I can. I found some new very pretty plated chain to use. So, I can offer different price points on some items. I’m also trying to work with more silver since it is less expensive than gold.
It’s exciting to see your new jewelry designs. Thanks for posting! The black/gold/ribbon piece in the first photo has my full attention — love this combination of colors! The new packaging is beautiful and classy. Great work, as always. I gave my boss one of my jewelry creations for Christmas (short necklace in white and silver glass pearls w/ Swarowski rhinestone rondelles in sapphire blue). This was the first time I’ve given one of my pieces away. I’m always worried that the person won’t like it, or that the quality isn’t good enough, etc. Anyway, she loved it and now that I’ve gotten over my fears, I’ll give more stuff away! Today’s temp in downstate Illinois: 8. Yep, just 8. Ugh.
Thanks JKW!
Lucky boss! Each of the pics you sent me looked like beautiful, quality pieces!
Very impressive! Beautiful and I can tell very well-made. What a lucky girl you are to be so talented! Enjoy:)
Thanks sweetsy.
I did some counting today. The ribbon necklaces will start at $45. It will be slightly more for sterling silver. Hope that sounds affordable
Oh, what an exciting preview! I recently wrote a post about how much I adore yellow and black color combos, so of course I am totally in love with that first picture especially. And that Tiffany’s-esque packaging is so pretty.
