Even with the 20% off, it's more than I'd like to pay for a skirt. However, it seems versatile enough that i would be worth the cost-per-wear price. The only reason I haven't ordered it yet is because it's dry-clean only. Why is 100% cotton chambray not machine washable? Seriously. First, I had to size way down. Not a huge surprise but it's still annoying. Second, the seams on either side of the body (where the plain fabric of the back meets the sequined chiffon of the front) are terrible. Instead of sewing the silk chiffon into the seam, they left the edge loose. You can get a vague idea of what I'm describing by zooming in on the side view of this top online. This creates a wispy look that I sort of like but I can only imagine the amount of fraying that will take place after wearing this item a couple of times. I might purchase this top after a major markdown, but I'm not going to spend $138 on something that is going to fray and look cheap after a couple of nights out.
