Picture Show: Eiffel tower

DaniBP’s upcoming trip to Paris has me nostalgic for my own vacation last year. I thought it would be fun to revisit some of my favorite photos of the city.

As I went through my old pics today my favorites list got longer and longer, this post will be a mutli-parter lol. You really can’t take a bad picture of Paris. Everywhere you look is something amazing. Being in Paris is like living in a postcard.

My first picture show post is devoted to the Eiffel tower. I love how the tower follows you through the city, reminding you where you are. After a few day you start to feel a bit at home in Paris. Maybe even take it for granted. You will be walking around the city shopping or looking for something to eat, when you turn the corner and there is the Eiffel tower. In the distance, poking up through the stony apartments into the expansive Parisian sky and you think- oh yes, I am in Paris.

Wow, Shannon, these are beautiful. I love the one with you and your DD – the backdrop is stunning, and all the angles with the structure and the searchlight leading the eye up are so dramatic. Brava!
