Boot wh0re

I’m obsessed with boots right now. A great pair of boots or 12 is at the tip top of my Fall wishlist. Problem is, I can’t decide which pair! I can’t go another year drooling over all of the boots and yet buying nothing due to indecisiveness lol. So, help me out please! You ladies are probably pretty familiar with my style and what’s in my closet. If not see HERE, HERE, and HERE. During the week I mostly wear bootcut or straight leg jeans. But I recently bought  quite a few skirts plus I have some sweater dresses from last year, so I’d like a boot that works with them as well. Here are the boots I am eyeing. Please vote on which you think would work best for me and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

London style and substance

You might have heard me mention here on the blog that Dh and I plan on going to London for our next vaca.  Well, we settled on the date finally, bought our tickets, and will be visiting in the Spring. The first two weeks of April specifically. We’ll probably spend 10 days in London and then 3 in Paris. April is a long way off, so I am only in the first stage of planning. Finding a flat in London is my main priority. I’m hoping for something in Kensington. I’m also putting together a basic outline of the sights I want to see and shops I want to visit. Packing will be considered much later but I would like to know a bit about London style so I can have a general idea of what I might like to bring. My closet doesn’t need a lot of additions this winter, so when I do shop potential items will need to fall into one of the following categories: 1-Need, 2-Obsessive love, or 3- Suitable for London.

If you’ve been to London, I would love to know what you thought the look was. Is it as dark as Paris? I’m hoping London fashion is more varied and has some color. There was so much black in Paris that I honestly found it a little conservative and boring. Of course when it comes down to it, I’m going to wear what I like and am comfortable in but I’m curious if pieces like tea cup dresses and clock skirts are going to feel too girlish and whimsical for the city.

Any thoughts, tips, or must sees for my London holiday would be greatly appreciated! If there is any interest, I’ll share some of the sights and shops I already have on my list. Selfridges and their new largest shoe department in the WORLD is one *dies*

I die

Sorry but I can think of no better post title for the two items at the top of my wishlist. They have me pawing at my computer monitor..

I first saw the MBMJ Natasha in Paris and I cannot shake the lust for this bag

And possibly the most perfect bootie.. There are a lot of version of this boot style but this one by Frye is just the right heel height for me.
