If you would like your brand or website to appear on Wardrobe Review there are several options to choose from..
Ad Space
Ad space is available in the right sidebar. Purchased ads appear on the site Home page as well as across all additional pages. Additional pages include: All photo galleries, Sizing guides, Wishlist, Links, and Archives. Our galleries and guides are very popular. Appearing on them gives your ad 1000s of additional impressions.
As with all content on Wardrobe Review, I am selective about the ads that appear here. All advertising must be on topic. This means the brand and/or website advertising must be related to fashion, style, shopping, or something similar that will appeal to the blog’s demographic.
Please email me to discuss Ad space further.
In Post options
To have your brand and/or product appear in a Wardrobe Review post, you can…
1- Offer a online discount code exclusively to Wardrobe Review readers.
Your promotion will receive an individual post with one link to your company home page. This post will be filed in our Sales and Promo category where it will continue to be accessible to our readers.
2- Send in a product for review and/or styling.
Items sent in are not guaranteed a post on the blog. I only suggest items to readers that meet the expected quality AND can be worked into my style.
That said, I am not in blogging for the freebies. 99% of the items that appear on the blog are found, tested in store, or purchased by me. However, I only have so much time in a day. And only so much money lol! There are many great brands that I am unaware of. There are also many companies I have heard of, but have not been able to experience the quality of for myself. I hope by offering this submit a sample option we can broaden by own and my readers fashion horizons.
If you are an independent designer and your item does not make it onto the blog, you may request to have the item shipped back to you at your expense. I offer this because I realize that sending samples has a higher risk and cost for small businesses.
If I am able to post about the item sent in, I will either post a short review or include it in one of my How I wore it outfits. Both types of posts are very popular and will include one link to your website. If your item is included in an outfit, it will also be posted in my How I wore it gallery. In the gallery, readers will have continued access to the name and brand of the item you sent in.
3-Host a give away.
To host a give away your company will provide a free product or gift certificate to a random Wardrobe Review reader. Readers will enter to win the item by leaving a comment on the give away post. This Give away post will contain one link to your company home page or one link direct to the product to be given away. For maximum advertising exposure, an excerpt of your give away post will be sticky-ed to the top of the blog home page for the duration of the contest.
Integrity and Transparency
All content posted to Wardrobe review is written by me. I do not publish company press releases or other publicist written content. If you participate in one of the above advertising options, I will include one link to your website homepage in the post body or ad. We all want better SEO results. So, I do take care to include accurate descriptions and meta tags but I do not stuff posts with keywords and/or links. All items sent in for review or styling that are written about on the blog will be listed in the original post body as a gift or comp.
Public and Business Relations
I am a always open to making new contacts with in the industry. Specifically, I am interested in building relationships with designers and PR professionals that will be beneficial to both your brand and my readers. I am not however interested in receiving canned publicity emails.
Information about your brand that I would be most interested in and likely to post about includes:
Photos of new products before mass release.
Notice of upcoming sales or promos prior to mass email.
Notice of upcoming local events.
I may also be open to interviewing company leaders who can give WR readers a behind the scenes look at the brand.
