Color Coordination Part 2: Fall color palettes

Rather than a wordy post to finish off my Color Coordination 101, I decided to go visual with a group of color swatches to hopefully inspire you for Fall. Don’t take the groupings too literally, as in top, bottom, cardigan. Instead, think about subtle accents in pops of color.

The cliff notes for my previous Color 101 post are: match your colors by tone or saturation and add visual interest with shades of light and dark.

Anthropologie reviews round up

This is part 2 of my Anthropologie reviews catch up and I think I finally have all the pics cleaned out of my camera lol. I’m staying home (and being good after some online purchases) this weekend but I’ll probably head out to Anthro next Friday in hopes of spotting some of the newer items. How many are too many: black booties

I already have a pair of Kelsi Dagger and Chie Mihara black booties. But, I am starting to love these by Rachel Comey…..

Example of the fit

Should I sell the two pairs of boots below and buy the Comey’s above? Or save, save, save and keep all three? The booties I have are fitted and I realize I don’t have the thinnest legs. Something I like about the Comey’s is that they are more open around the ankle and have a lower heel.
